It was an awesome time at Lansdowne Place participating in the 3rd annual Battle in the Saddle. Six teams competed and the overall champions ended up being the Peterborough Fire Dept.
They lasted the full 24 hours, travelled over 12ookm's and raised nearly $4,000 dollars in donations.
Other teams involved in the competition were NuBodies Fitness, Goodlife Fitness, Runners Life, Peterborough E.M.S, & us, Pedal For Hope.
All the participants had a great time, we were entertained by Haley Heinze's amazing singing voice, played wacky games in the wee hours of the morning and quickly found out very few of us were 'Smarter Than A Fifth Grader'.
As usual it will take days or even months for everyone's backside to heal, however no matter how much pain I was in as I crawled into an Epson salt bath, it was worth every painful kilometer.
