Lakefield BBQ

It started early with a ride to Young's Point for breakfast. The weather was grey and windy and we were trying to decide if we were going to have the BBQ or not.

We started to ride towards Lakefield and it seemed like the a magical force took over the weather. We didn't get wet until we were ready to pack up.

The day was fantastic and we owe it all to Larry Taylor and his great crew of guys at the Lions Club. We would also like to thank Ian & Ross Bledsoe and their great staff at Lakefield IGA. Without the support of these great community members we would not be able to do what we do. As I travel around the province on this great cycling tour it amazes me how many individuals will go above and beyond to support a cause. These gentlemen I mentioned above are perfect examples of community involvement.

For that Pedal For Hope thanks you and is proud to have you on our team in the fight against childhood cancer.
