Week 1 Day 5 - April 25, 2008

We rolled into Bobcaygeon Public School first thing in the morning and were greeted by a thunderous applause that was loud enough to wake the neighbourhood. Than there was our sweet special friend Vicky, who thrilled us with her news back in January that she was clear of cancer.......however today unbeknown to us, she would devastate the team with news that the cancer had returned and she needed more treatment.

The look on her face when she uttered those words was enough to make us ride a million miles to raise money to find a cure. No child should ever have to go thru this.

From there the team left Bobcaygeon and rode 106km's to prepare for the school visits on Monday.
