Waterlogged

Okay, I think we have seen enough rain for one spring. Bring on the sun and the shine.

Today we started just north of Apsley and rode in a major rain storm. The taste of dirt and sand in your mouth as spray flies off the bike in front of you is not exactly a day at the beach.

We arrived in Apsley and had the pleasure of performing in the community centre while Apsley P.S waits for their new school to be built. It was a great show despite the team dripping water all over the place.

Our second stop of the day was Buckhorn P.S where the kids were awesome. We kicked off their campaign and they enjoyed an afternoon filled with ice cream treats.

Our final stop of the day was at Lakefield High School, where we watched quite a few students shed their locks for the cause.

Hopefully the sun will be out tomorrow, were riding from Lakefield to Douro and than on to Warsaw where I hear we are having a BBQ. MMMmmm.
