Well the weather today was better, but still cold. We headed to Westmount P.S and enjoyed the morning with some dedicated, enthusiastic students. We had some fun, did some head shaves and most importantly remembered Graham as we put on our show. At the end we were entertained by the students as they danced to their favorite song.
Our second stop was Adam Scott C.I where we had some mini bike races, did some head shaves and watched as students got to 'Tar & Feather' their teachers. The students were not kind as they took turns pouring every type of sauce, condiment & salad dressing over their head.
From there we were off to King George P.S where we were greeted by yelling and screaming students as they finished up their lunch break. The best part of the video was watching the students reaction as they seen their school highlighted throughout the show.
We finished our second day off at Kawartha Heights where we greeted by students, teachers, photographers, video crew, news reporters. It was like being in Hollywood, but I am sure Caldzy already knows what that's like, he is always being chased by reporters. Mrs. Williamson did an awesome job getting students to help in the fundraising effort. At the end of the day the school presented Pedal For Hope with over $7,000 dollars. On top of that we were able to stay after school and enjoy a pizza party with the grade 2 class who were the top fundraisers.
After 2 complete days Pedal For Hope has almost reached $30,000 dollars !!!!!
