McHappy Day 2011

After we wrapped up our last school today we drove back to Peterborough to cause havoc for a bunch of employees at McDonalds one store at a time.

Pedal For Hope was having a McHappy Day and as we visited each store, we gained more and more respect for the McDonalds employees. It's hard work running around trying to serve each customer in record setting time, and it's even harder when you have 15 police officers getting in the way !!

Our first stop was on The Parkway, than Willowcreek, and finally ended up at the Chemong Rd

restaurant. It was a fantastic day and we look forward to this day every year.

We can't thank Jamie, Terri, and Angel enough for allowing us to be part of this amazing day for the last 3 years. Not to mention the 2 years before that when they donated the proceeds from the new launches of snack wraps and ice coffee. Over the past 5 years the McDonalds stores in Peterborough, Lakefield and Bancroft have donated over $40,000 towards ending Pediatric Cancer.

After a hard night of flipping burgers and serving fries, it was time to get some rest. the very next day, Angel contacted us and advised that McHappy Day 2011 had raised $13,000 !!!!
